The Differences Between the BMW F 900 GS and the F 900 GS Adventure.

At first glance, the BMW F 900 GS and the F 900 GS Adventure look very similar. They are both equipped with a tough, two-cylinder, four stroke engine. They are both fast motorcycles, loaded up with plenty of standard equipment. So, where do they vary? Here’s a quick rundown of the differences between these two very capable motorcycles.
The BMW F 900 GS is a pure Enduro motorcycle. This lightweight motorcycle can take on all types of terrain. From mud to gravel to sand to dirt, and everything in between. The GS can take them on with ease. The GS is off-road optimized with lower foot rests and higher handlebars, a higher foot brake lever, folding footplate and adjustable gearshift levers. The hand protectors provide weather and wind protection. Standard equipment and dimensions follow.
