The 2020 BMW R 1250 RT is one of BMW’s touring motorcycles, designed to conquer significant distances in comfort. At the heart of the machine is BMW’s iconic twin-cylinder boxer engine producing 136 horsepower and 105 lb-ft of torque. When you’re riding, you’ll enjoy listening to your favorite music through the audio system. BMW includes several technologies designed to make the ride smoother and safer, like Dynamic ESA that adjusts the damping and spring preload to ensure traction on various surfaces. At the same time, Ride Modes Pro lets you adjust the ABS and traction control on the fly.

With the rugged suspension, additional ground clearance, and tough hardware, the R 1250 GS can transition effortlessly from pavement to dirt. The styling is an unmistakable BMW adventure motorcycle with an asymmetrical headlight design, daring angles on the bit of bodywork, and the prominent front fender. The bike also adapts to a variety of riders with different seats offered, ranging from 33.5 to 34.3 inches. Powering the GS is the same 1,254 cubic-centimeter twin-cylinder boxer engine producing 136 horsepower and 105 lb-ft of torque. The R 1250 GS benefits from a crisp and colorful 6.5-inch TFT display that shows vital info like speed, revs, and fuel levels, but also features smartphone connectivity for access to your device’s media, phone, and navigation. The motorcycle also comes standard with Hill Start Control, which will hold and automatically release the brake so you can focus on the terrain and throttle.
