CloseThe G 310 GS gets a tube space similar to other BMW motorcycles. Although the suspension, wheelbase, and wheel/wheels are specific to this motorcycle. The wheelbase stands at 55.9 inches. With a seat height of 32.8 inches, the GS is more comfortable for short passengers compared to its counterpart. The fuel tank can store 3.0 liters of gasoline. Because this GS is an adventure motorcycle, a large fuel tank would make sense.
The significant change comes from geometry because the GS is for adventure riders. As a result, it gets a 19-inch front wheel, long-distance suspension, and wide and long bars. As for its suspension, you will get a 41mm fork on the front wheel and a mono-shock rear. With a motion of 7.1 inches on both wheels, it should easily absorb large bumps and rocks.
As usual, the G 310 GS gets ABS with two channels. For braking work, there is a 300mm disc on the front wheel and a 240mm disc on the rear wheel. An LED headlight is part of a standard package. The clutch and brake levers are adjustable.
Let’s go back to the details. The DOHC engine produces 34 hp at 9,250 rpm and 20 lb.-ft of torque at 7,500 rpm. The G 310 GS also uses a six-speed gearbox with an assist-and-slipper clutch in power transmission operations. A ride-by-wire throttle gives the motorcycle a peppier response from the engine with proper twisting.
In terms of performance, expect the G 310 GS to be really fast. In fact, the maximum speed for this motorcycle is 88 mph.
