The 2022 BMW CE 04 is the new futuristic electric scooter from BMW. It is the final series of the BMW Motorrad concept link showed in 2017, and it combines both e-motion with e-drive, which makes it great for urban mobility. This new scooter, which combines cyberpunk styling with electromobility, has recently received the go-ahead for production.
Underneath the sleek design of the BMW CE 04 is a battery with a capacity of 60.6 Ah, which can go within the range of 130 kilometres before it dies. This means 130 kilometers of emission-free riding around the city, work, and touring on weekends and holidays. It also has a powerful motor which makes it an exciting motorcycle to ride. It takes around 2.6 seconds to start and go from 0 to 50km/h.
What makes it very easy to use is that the lithium-ion battery can easily be charged using an integrated charging device at a public station, wall box, or even household sockets. If there’s no juice in the battery, it takes around 4 to 5 hours to charge. However, you can cut the charging time down to 1 hour 40 minutes with the use of a quick charger which has an output of 2.3 KW at its standard level and 6.9 KW at its maximum level.
The 2022 BMW CE 04 comes with three riding modes: the Rain, ECO, and Road modes as standard. These modes make them efficient for day-to-day use. This gives every rider a chance to pick between maximum fun and optimum efficiency. The unique option the BMW CE 04 has is the Dynamic mode which allows the rider to speed up faster than with the other three ways.
And if the capacity of the motorcycle is not enough to impress you, the CE 04 has a five-year/40,000km warranty on its batteries. This means that if you buy a CE 04 and the battery capacity falls below 80% within five years, BMW will replace that battery with no additional cost to you.
